Draegath - The Art of Matt Benson-Parry

Home About Paintings Contact

Well, Canada was one fine trip. I really love it there. Its always different to live somewhere than visiting, which my wife always yells at the TV whenever someone moves to their favourite holiday spot and then complains about the lack of services, but I think I could get used to somewhere like Kingston or Toronto.

I have been accepted for an exhibition at Gingers Garage in Northbridge since I got back, which is great. I checked out the space the other day and I must have looked like a big kid cos I was staring wide eyed. Something about the space just spoke volumes to me. Maybe it was the light, or the busted up yellowed paint on the skirting, but I loved it. My paintings always look good against yellow and white. Anyway, that exhibition will be opening November 1st, which is a very auspicious day for Pagans, either summers end or summers start depending on your hemisphere. Keep your eyes peeled and I'll post more about that exhibition as it gets closer. In the meantime I have added three newly completed paintings to the painting page. Enjoy!

I am still looking for a local artist to work out some collaborations with. I am interested in hearing from anyone who thinks that we might be able to get something going. A lot of my work is about healing divides in Australia. You can find the contact details to your left.
